the running gag of this game is making ryan eat something stupid. thats y they always give it to drew first cuz he obviously doesnt wana and drew always rejects it cuz otherwise it b no fun. thers always a key moment in every helping hands where u could see it in ryans eyes he goes “…FUCK!”

@breathofexodus00 Late reply, but first of all, no need to get so offended by a comment on a YouTube video. And furthermore, I was only talking about Drew’s participation in Helping Hands; I didn’t say anything about his laughter (which I agree is contagious). It is possible, you know (?), to enjoy a show, while still finding fault with it. As such, Whose Line is hilarious. Helping Hands is hilarious. Drew can be hilarious. But Drew in Helping Hands is not hilarious. See how that works?

Drew didn’t deserve to be the host of this show. He was kinda funny sometimes but he didn’t get involved at all (EVER!!!!) Every time they did helping hands with him he wouldn’t do anything. He sucks. And he isn’t that good at the singing bits as well.

I think someone’s taking Whose Line wayyyy too seriously…The only aim of this show was to make people laugh, and it did that. No reason to get a stick up your ass. And frankly, I laugh harder when Drew laughs. So all it is is your loss as someone who takes themselves so seriously that they can’t enjoy things like this.

Also, as far as Drew getting in the way, there have been many occasions when Ryan has offered him an opportunity to play along, and Drew has been totally unwilling to participate. Not to mention he always breaks character. It’s irritating and frankly unprofessional.

I disagree. Obviously the purpose of the “other” performer in Helping Hands is to play a sort of straight man to Ryan (and Colin), but Drew fails spectacularly at it. He doesn’t encourage as much as forces the scene along, which threatens any sense of natural development or cohesion. Ryan is talented enough to make it work, but I think a lesser performer would be thrown off by many of Drew’s prompts.
