shure it’s stop motion but reverse. Otherwise he had to pick the right components everytime from that messy cluster. At the beginning of his work the car was completed then he put one component apart from it an took a photo, after that he put the next component apart from it an shot the second picture. at the end he made that movie with the last picture at the beginning. that’s considerably easier.
