Listening to this song, and Lalah Hathaway’s “Baby Don’t Cry”, I can hear the similarities and see that Angela helped craft both records as PURE R&B perfection. This song puts me in a certain “mood” and it’s relaxing. The singing..the SOUND…the emotions….the classy video…the incredible songwriting…the artistry..ALL of this is why sooooooooooo many people miss this time period (late 80s) in R&B/Soul music!!!!!!!!
