You forgot to say that the design of the displays, computer target, touch screens x buttons, looks far more advanced in the frist three esipodes than in the original triology. And in the final of episode 3 they suddenly try to show simpler displays and design in a silly try to connect to the first triology, as the design and props just get simpler, wihout explanation.

One small thing that always annoyed me in the Ep2 debacle is just right after the typical Star Wars before words the camera angle goes up instead of down(-ish) like in all of the other movies(and games).

Excellent videos… I have to say though, and it pains me to say it, that I think you went way too far with the kidnapped woman stuff. It’s one thing to joke around, but it seems like you really did put her through that. Maybe you used some digital effects yourself, but I have to say my skin was actually crawling as I was watching. I mean, really, making her watch the movies on a CRT? Was that necessary?

These were a lot of fun.
I hope in your review of Episode III you discuss how thoroughly un-evil the Palpatine character is. That’s something that has always bothered me. His “evil” has not been foreshadowed at all in these previous two films. He is simply presented as a popular and effective politician. Like the Annie-Padame romance, the evil of Palpy is just something we are “told” to accept without convincing evidence.

I remember I saw this movie twice when it came out, and both times I remember thinking “OK, but whose clones are they again? And who are they fighting? Why?”.
And then I thought – wait, did they really make a Star Wars movie too complex for me to understand? Or is it possible that the movie’s confused and not just my tiny brain?

I’m one of the urban market, never really like star wars neither, but I amazed cause your review actually make me want to go watch the original trilogy. The humanity you talk of seems to be so evident in those clips of the originals. Kudos to you.

Beautiful. Somehow the review managed to live up to the expectations I had for it, and more. You hit EVERYTHING. Except maybe C-3P0′s head-pun hurricane in the middle of thousands of people dying. I was expecting Plinkett to have a smarmy comment for that.
