That’s because BRS isn’t Miku– BRS has been around longer. Since BRS was becoming somewhat popular, a song sung by Miku was made for her thus increasing her popularity. I understand people think of Black Rock Shooter as being Miku mainly because of the hair but all in all, they are different characters.
